Which side is mysoginistic, racist, and homophobic again?
“Actually, sweety-pie, if a statement is blatantly satirical (as mine was) then it’s not defamation. So, piss off.
“
Yeah, so that happened on twitter tonight. It was a response to me calling out a guy who goes by the handle “amazingatheist” (a real credit to Atheists, I’m sure the non-assholes ones that respect women really love you.) when he posted something that was clearly libel and was not blatantly satirical, as he obviously does not like Andrew Breitbart (who the original comment was aimed at), the comment contained no hint that it was meant satirically, and his twitter is not a satirical twitter page. Therefore, as I said, libel.
After he called me sweety-pie, which isn’t something I would put up with anyone calling me, let alone some liberal idiot on a twitter page, I told him not to talk down to me by using such language in reference to me. At which point he preceded to call me “snuggle-bug” and “sugarplum”. I actually felt like I needed to take a shower after that. I mean…eww.
What’s worse is that someone called this guy witty!
Uh, what? Vulgar libel against an active political commentator, misogynistic debating practices, and creepiness equals clever now? I seemed to have missed that definition of wittiness.
This isn’t the first time this has happened to me when debating liberals. It isn’t the first time I’ve seen it happen to others. Michelle Malkin and SE Cupp are both regularly attacked with misogynistic and racist rhetoric.
And then let’s start with the blatant anti-semitism that is all over the place at the Occupy Wall Street protests and the Liberal political agenda in general.
For that I direct you here, here, here , here, and over and over again in the decisions of this administration.
As for homophobia. How about this video here, where an occupy wall street protestor (I thought they were all liberal, equality is good, love everyone except the rich, types?) calls the man making the video a faggot. Or the post I wrote detailing how I found the President’s decision that, suddenly, when gay marriage came up…that state’s rights became a big deal for him…and how I found that a bit fishy. Or this attempt to push gay people into seeing homophobia as the same thing as Islamophobia…I mean, really?
And it goes on and on and on.
May I remind those that have forgotten, or educate those who were never taught, of something important. Which party was it that opposed the abolition of slavery? That’s right, the Democrats. Which president was it who, when elected, opposed Women’s suffrage…and, in fact, opposed it until it became unpopular to do so? That’s right, Democrat Woodrow Wilson. All these stories about Democrats paving the way toward social change…they really aren’t true. They talk a big talk these days, they subsidize a lot of federal aid which keeps people “on the dole” as the Brits say, but they don’t really walk the walk.
I mean, when I feel less vicitimized by my mother’s distaste for my homosexuality than I do by the gay liberal’s hatred for my being a gay conservative…clearly something is rotten in the state of Denmark. For a party of acceptance, I see more hate, insults, and vitriol from political liberals than I do from political conservatives.
Feel free to leave more instances of misogyny, racism, and homophobia from the left in the comments below. I can hardly keep up with the whole of the internet.

Don’t you see, your racist/sexist/homophobic because your indifferent to “the cause”, if you dont constantly point out how rich white christian males are evil then you are intolerant of others and therefore not entitled to any respect … or i think that’s how it works
Mmm…yes…that makes TOTAL sense.
And Nick you’re a racist/sexist/homophobe for letting the secret out.
I think Obama’s policies are economically destructive and poorly thought out…oh no..your right, that’s the racism setting in
*sings* Everyone’s a little bit racist sometimes!
Didn’t you know Nick, it doesn’t matter if you have a legitimate complaint, the moment you make it about a person from a ‘minority’ it becomes racist. I mean, you can’t blame Obama for having bad economic policies. He’s black, so he never had a fair shot at a good education.
You’re right of course… there is no way he could be blamed, having only a poor mans Harvard education …its all the republicans fault, using their evil money they stopped the democratic super-majority from passing all the laws that would have saved the economy..except the healthcare thing..and the bailouts..but those dont even count ok!
Great post sugar-britches! hahaha! I’m SOOOOOOOOOOO kidding! That was actually something I was called on Twitter once and I did the same shaking, ew, I need a shower moment.
What makes me crazier than liberals doing that to me, are conservatives that disagree with me. One guy went nuts on me just because I retweeted a comment I found interesting. Didn’t say I agreed or disagreed, I was just sharing. Holy Cow! He didn’t stop. I don’t get that. But I can’t handle that talking down to me crap. It makes me flip my lid so fast. Shhhhh, don’t tell em!
Aw, well you can call me cute nicknames all you want. I know you mean it in a good way
It’s true, some conservatives can be just as bad. I’ve had my run ins with them a time or two, but the thing they tend to have in common is that they are less worried about political conservatism and small government and more concerned with social conservatism and having a big government tell people what to do in their personal lives and bedrooms. Perhaps that’s just been my experience, but that’s how I’ve seen it happen.
Sugarlamb, you have no idea how hard it is to be a conservative atheist! Most atheists only hate evil white Christians, every other race or religion is just super with them. They hate Christians so much, yet don’t you dare say a word about the hundreds of evangelical Spanish churches here on the border—then you’re a racist. I stopped writing about this Janus-faced atheism long ago because the hate mail from liberal atheists was so vicious. I was stalked for months afterwards, one guy in particular I finally had to blacklist. Another “atheist” told me he hated Christians so much he voted for a Muslim for mayor in his town—good going! Good luck getting those funds for the local dog pound, unless it’s to euthanize them with an electrical wire and a bucket of water, just like Mexico. I swear it’s enough to make me praise the lord. Just kidding.
PS–there’s a well-known “comedian” who lives in Bisbee—not only hates Christians but seems to hate all white people. When I asked him why he didn’t attack Islam in his skits, he said “oh that’s for those Fox News-watching assholes.” Hmm, yet all his minions are successful white people…uncontestable hypocrisy.
Atheists who don’t make equal time to criticize any and all religions that hurt their followers and others outside their religion just make my head hurt. Sam Harris I can appreciate, he’s an equal opportunity religion criticizer and most of his criticisms I can agree with. In fact, a good many of the numbers I get for criticizing Islam came originally from him citing studies in one book or another that he’s written.
I have a feeling it’s about the same difficulty to be a conservative atheist as it is to be a conservative gay person though…if I get call a Jewish Nazi one more time….
It’s probably worse for you. Old Bisbee (the insulated bubble of hippies and older gays) is extremely liberal. They want to open the borders, not seal them. I’m going to ask some of them what they think of the Occupoopers, etc. I usually avoid talking politics with them, but I’ll try to phrase my questions more like an interview—which I almost always have to do anyway. (Got called a fascist once from one of my own customers for daring to report I support immigration reform.)
It sucks not to fit in anywhere, but I guess we’re used to it. Does get lonely though.
It certainly does. I’ve stopped dating and stopped socializing in the gay community at all, it can get lonely at times. I do have a few very good friends, but it’s a little isolating.
Wow, I haven’t seen these sort of atheists very often. I always wonder what their basis for rejecting Christianity is, since I reject it based upon science and reason, which don’t paint Islam any better. It certainly deserves as much crap as Christianity does, and probably more.
